- 12 fresh strawberries, washed and dried
- 150g dark Belgian or Emirati chocolate, chopped
- 1 tsp ground cardamom (optional)
- 2 tbsp crushed pistachios
- 1 tbsp dried rose petals
- Edible gold leaf (optional)
- Saffron strands (optional)
Instructions
- Line a tray with parchment paper.
- Melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave (15-sec intervals).
- Add cardamom and stir.
- Dip each dry strawberry into chocolate.
- Immediately top with pistachios, rose petals, saffron, or gold leaf.
- Place on tray and chill for 15 minutes.
- Serve or gift beautifully.
Notes
- Make sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping.
- Do not touch gold leaf with fingers—use tweezers.
- Use couverture chocolate for best results.
