- 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- Optional: ground cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Toast pecans at 350°F for 6–8 minutes and let cool.
- Combine butter, sugars, and cream in a saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat. Stir in bourbon, vanilla, and salt.
- Transfer to a bowl. Beat in powdered sugar until thick and smooth.
- Fold in pecans. Pour into a lined baking pan.
- Dust with cinnamon (optional), chill for 2 hours, then slice.
Notes
For a deeper flavor, soak the pecans in bourbon for 1 hour. To make it alcohol-free, use bourbon extract instead. Store fudge in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
