Description

This rich and creamy bourbon pecan fudge is loaded with toasted pecans, warm vanilla, and a splash of bourbon. Perfect for holidays, gifting, or snacking.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • Optional: ground cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Toast pecans at 350°F for 6–8 minutes and let cool.
  2. Combine butter, sugars, and cream in a saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat. Stir in bourbon, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Transfer to a bowl. Beat in powdered sugar until thick and smooth.
  5. Fold in pecans. Pour into a lined baking pan.
  6. Dust with cinnamon (optional), chill for 2 hours, then slice.

Notes

For a deeper flavor, soak the pecans in bourbon for 1 hour. To make it alcohol-free, use bourbon extract instead. Store fudge in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
